Alex Song is an accomplished entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in launching and scaling businesses. As the Founder and CEO of Proxima since May 2022, Alex leads a data intelligence solution that leverages a proprietary network of 12,000 ecommerce storefronts and over 70 million shopper personas. In addition, Alex co-founded Innovation Department in 2012, focusing on building consumer brands that positively impact lives. Ongoing ventures include co-founding Finn, WellPath, and Grummies, showcasing a commitment to innovative consumer solutions. Previously, Alex served as Co-Founder and CEO of DojoMojo, enhancing ecommerce growth through a vast partnership network and text message marketing. Early career experience includes roles as an Investment Analyst at Pershing Square Capital Management and an Associate at Goldman Sachs, where significant investments were evaluated across multiple funds. Alex holds a degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
