Matt Day has a strong background in engineering and leadership roles. Matt began their career at Delta Airlines as a Senior Engineer. Matt then moved on to Safway Services, where they worked as the Southern Region Engineering Manager. Following that, they joined Honeywell Aerospace, where they held various positions, including Principle Engineer, Engineering Leader, and Senior Director of Global Product Support Engineering. After that, they worked at Hamilton Sundstrand as the Director of Air Management Systems Engineering. Later, they joined Finn Corporation as the Vice President of Operations. Currently, they are working at GE Aviation in a Program Leadership role.
Matt Day received their MBA from Emory University - Goizueta Business School in 2006-2007. Prior to that, they obtained a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University in 1992-1997. In addition, they hold certifications as a Licensed Professional Engineer and has expertise in Six Sigma and Design for Six Sigma Green Belt.
