Mikael Appel

Mikael Appel has worked primarily in supply chain and operations roles throughout their career. Mikael started their career as an Operations Development Engineer at Lexel Group in 2002 and then moved on to work at Schneider Electric as an Engineer in supply chain development. Mikael later became a SCM Business Controller & Supply Planning Manager and then a Supply Chain Manager at Elari Oy. Mikael then joined Duuri Oy as their Chief Supply Chain Officer before moving on to Finnair. At Finnair, they held various roles including Head of Supply Chain and Procurement Finnair Travel Retail and Head of Bonded Store Operations at Finnair Kitchen Oy. Mikael is currently working as the Head of OPS Transformation at Finnair.

Mikael Appel obtained their Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, where they attended from 1995 to 2002. Additionally, they have a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Schneider Electric, although the month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
