Sami Haaksiala

Sami Haaksiala is an experienced supply chain professional with a robust background in purchasing, process management, and material management. Currently serving as Head of Concepts & Categories and previously as Purchasing Manager at Finnair since January 2020, Sami has a decade of experience at Nokia in various roles, including Demand Supply Balancing Manager and Sub Process Owner for Inventory Optimization. Sami's earlier career includes roles at STX Finland, where contributions were made as a Thesis Worker focused on Modular Cruise Ship Building Method and as Team Lead during a summer trainee position. Additional early experience at Outokumpu involved process operations within a cold rolling mill. Sami holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Engineering from the University of Oulu and has also studied at KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
