Antti Urvas

Antti Urvas has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Antti started their career in 1989 as an Investment Manager at the Central Bank of Finland. Antti then worked at various companies, including Currency Derivatives UK Ltd and CD Derivatives Ltd, where they held director and managing director roles. In 1999, Urvas became the Head of Funding at Sampo Bank, Treasury, and later moved on to Sampo Bank, Markets, where they served as the Head of Fixed Income and Money Markets. From 2006 to 2009, they worked at Danske Bank Russia as the Head of Corporate Banking and Treasury. Urvas then joined Danske Capital as the Head of Danske Capital Finland. Antti also served as a board member at CIFI and BOPA Pte Ltd. Currently, they are working at Finnfund, where they have held various roles, including Associate Director for Financial Institutions and Treasury and Head of Manufacturing and Services.

Antti Urvas completed their A levels from Helsingin Suomalainen Yhteiskoulu between 1982 and 1985. Following that, they attended Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu from 1986 to 1990, where they earned an M Sc degree in Economics and Finance.
