You can access our technologies and services in Helsinki, Turku, and Oulu. The Finnish Advanced Microscopy Node (FiAM) is part of the Euro-BioImaging Finland, a national roadmap infrastructure and a national lighthouse. The FiAM is funded by the Research Council of Finland.

Q: How does one apply to access technologies in the FiAM Node?
A: Contact FiAM Node personnel for preliminary discussion followed by submission of Euro-BioImaging application. We will provide guidance during the duration of the application.

Q: Do you only provide user access to microscopy and imaging technologies?
A: No. Users can also get access to laboratory spaces and facilities, and get help with samples and image data analysis as a service.

Q: Do you provide instrument user training to new users?
A: Yes, one-on-one instrument training is provided by our expert staff.

Q: Can you help with selection of an imaging and microscopy technology best suited for a particular application?
A: In case a user is unsure about which technology is best suited for their needs, we advise them which technology can be used and provide necessary instrument user training if required.
