Gita Kadambi

Gita Kadambi serves as the General Director of the Finnish National Opera and Ballet since January 2018, bringing extensive experience in the arts and management sector. Previously, Gita held the position of General Manager at the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra from August 2013 to December 2017, and served as an HR Partner at the Finnish Broadcasting Company between September 2012 and July 2013. Gita's career also includes roles as HR Manager at YLE, Orchestra Manager for the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, and various positions at the Savonlinna Opera Festival. Gita's educational background includes an Executive MBA from Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development, as well as Master’s degrees in Piano Performance and Music Education from the London College of Music and Sibelius Academy, respectively.
