Tuula Paataja

Tuula Paataja is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Communications Manager for the Finnish Olympic Committee since January 2017. Prior to this role, Tuula held the position of Communications Manager at Valo, the Finnish Sports Confederation, from January 2013 to December 2016, and directed marketing and communications at Nuori Suomi from 1997 to 2012. Tuula's early career includes positions such as Project Manager for the Finnish Gymnastics Federation and marketing communications for the European Championships 1993. Tuula began their career in communications and marketing with the Finnish Sports Federation (SVUL 90 project) in 1989. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree from the University of Jyväskylä in Sport Sciences and a Diploma in Marketing and Communications Management from Markkinointi-instituutti.
