Andres Fontao

Andres Fontao is an accomplished entrepreneur and leader in the financial technology sector, currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO of Finnosummit since January 2014, a prominent platform for Fintech networking and content in Latin America. As Co-Founder of Finnovista and its venture capital arm, Finnovista.vc, Andres has played a pivotal role in the development of the regional Fintech ecosystem. Additional leadership roles include Partner at Rainmaking, LATAM Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Startupbootcamp, and former VP of Business Development at Monitise Americas, focusing on Latin America. Andres has extensive experience in mobile banking and consultancy, with previous positions at Bankinter, Valoris, and co-founding Big Wireless. Educational achievements include a BA in International Politics & Economics from Middlebury College and an MBA in Entrepreneurship from IE Business School.
