Avinash Khatavkar

Avinash Khatavkar has a diverse range of work experience in procurement and materials management. Avinash began their career at Sterlite Industries (India) Limited in 1993 as an Officer Purchase, where they worked in SAP/R3 computerized environment and gained expertise in materials management. Avinash then moved on to M/S Finolex Industries Limited in 2001 and served as a Sr. Officer Purchase, managing procurement for a multi-product, multi-location group of companies. Avinash joined MULJIBHAI MADHVANI & COMPANY LIMITED in 2003 as the Head of Procurement, overseeing purchasing activities for various manufacturing facilities in Uganda and other African countries. Their latest role is with Finolex Industries Ltd, where they progressively advanced from Assistant Manager Purchase in 2008 to their current position as Head of Procurement, Materials, and Dispatch at the Ratnagiri location.

Avinash Khatavkar's education history includes a DBM degree in Management from the University of Pune, which they obtained from 1995 to 1997. Avinash then pursued an MMS degree in Materials Management from the same university, completing it from 1997 to 1998. Avinash also obtained a Diploma in Business Management (DBM) from N.G. Naralkar Institute of Management Pune from 1995 to 1997. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) from Government Polytechnic College Karad, completing it from 1989 to 1992. Avinash had also pursued the same Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) from Government Polytechnic Karad during the same period.
