Diptesh Patel

Diptesh Patel has extensive experience in various leadership roles in the information technology (IT) field. Diptesh began their career as the Head of Corporate IT at Orient Bell in 1995 and held this position until 2004. From 2004 to 2006, they served as the Head of the Information Technology Department at the National Dairy Development Board. In 2006, they joined Danaher Corporation as the Head of the Information Technology Department for a brief period. Later that year, they moved to JSW Steel Ltd, where they worked as the Head of IT Strategy, Governance & PMO for the JSW Group for almost ten years, until 2015. In 2015, they joined Finolex Industries Ltd as the Chief Information Officer, where they are currently employed.

Diptesh Patel's education history includes a Master of Computer Management degree from North Maharashtra University (1992-1995) with a field of study in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management. Diptesh also attended Gujarat University (1989-1992) for Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering. Additionally, they completed various short-term programs and certifications, including courses in Digital Business Models and Strategy from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (2020), ITIL3 Foundation from ITIL (2008), and Leading CIO IT leadership from Gartner, INC (2014). Diptesh also participated in the MANAGEMENT GRID PROGRAM at Grid International, INC (2007).
