Chris Ortbals

Chris Ortbals serves as the Chief Product & Technology Officer at Tangoe, leading the Product Development organization and overseeing the entire lifecycle of product offerings. As a Governing Board Member of the FinOps Foundation, Chris actively contributes to industry governance. Previous roles include Chief Technology Officer and Chief Product & Technology Officer at Newfold Digital, where responsibilities encompassed product, development, and partner strategies across various brands. At QTS Data Centers, Chris was Executive Vice President for Product Management & Marketing, driving software-defined data center services and product strategy. Earlier experiences include Vice President roles at Sungard Availability Services and Cbeyond, along with various senior management positions at Savvis, ADCom, and Bridge Information Systems. Chris holds a Master’s Degree in Information Management from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor’s Degree from Kansas State University.
