Rob Moffat is a Senior Technical Architect at FINOS. Rob has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, working on a variety of software development projects. Rob started their career as a software developer at Credit Suisse, before moving to Royal Bank of Scotland Business, where they eventually became a Manager in the Risk IT Department. In 2013, they left RBS to join Aura Software LLC as a Consultant.

In 2016, Rob joined HSBC Private Bank as a Symphony Consultant. Rob was responsible for building the HSBC Symphony Research App, an application that allows users to read and disseminate HSBC Global Research articles to their contacts. Rob left HSBC in 2018 and joined Kite9 - Symphony Consultancy, where they worked on a variety of Symphony-related projects.

In 2019, Rob joined Deutsche Bank as a Symphony Consultant. Rob is currently working on a number of Symphony-related projects for the bank.

Rob Moffat has a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School, a Bsc in Computer Science from Aston University, and certification from The Linux Foundation as a Keynote Speaker: Open Source in Finance Forum London 2022 and Symphony.com as a Symphony Certified Developer.
