Abhay John

Abhay John has accumulated extensive work experience in the finance industry. Abhay is currently serving as the Vice President at Finova Capital since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Piramal Capital & Housing Finance, holding positions such as Geography Collection Head from November 2021 to August 2022, and Regional Head from May 2020 to November 2021.

Before joining Piramal Capital & Housing Finance, Abhay John served as an Assistant Vice President at Finova Capital from April 2019 to March 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Manager at Axis Bank from August 2017 to March 2019.

Abhay John gained significant experience in collections and management at Bajaj Auto Finance Ltd, where they served as an Area Collection Manager from January 2011 to August 2017. Abhay was responsible for handling DCC Collection for Rajasthan, Haryana, and Punjab, managing a team of eight Collection officers.

Furthermore, they worked at Cholamandalam Investment & Finance Co. Ltd as a Deputy Manager from July 2009 to December 2010. In this role, they handled recoveries portfolios, managed agencies and field executives, and achieved high recoveries.

Abhay John began their career in the banking sector as an Assistant Manager-Collections at HSBC Bank from January 2008 to July 2009. Prior to that, they served as a Collections Officer at ICICI Bank from July 2005 to December 2007, where they focused on risk minimization and portfolio control.

Throughout their career, Abhay John has demonstrated their expertise in collections, portfolio management, team leadership, and strategic planning within the finance industry.

Abhay John completed their MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. This degree was obtained in the year 2005. After that, they pursued another MBA from Allahbad Agricultural Institute, Deemed University. Abhay started this program in 2006 and successfully completed it in 2008, specializing in Marketing.
