Vila Wong is an experienced professional in the FinTech sector, currently serving as the Appointed Event Organiser for Hong Kong FinTech Week since April 2024. As a co-founder of The VERSE since June 2023, Vila Wong has established a private community space focused on FinTech, GreenFi, and AI, aimed at connecting startups and entrepreneurs. In addition, Vila Wong co-founded Finoverse, previously known as FINNOVASIA, in August 2015, which leads a global FinTech and Web 3 community. As the Official Organiser for D3 Bahamas since June 2022, Vila Wong contributed to a significant gathering for Web3 and FinTech executives. Vila Wong also had a notable tenure as Appointed Event Organizer for Hong Kong FinTech Week from September 2016 to March 2023 and served as Chief Of Staff for the FinTech Club from April 2017 to April 2022. Vila Wong holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Marketing/Marketing Management from the University of Hull.
