Daoyuan Li

Daoyuan Li has extensive experience in the field of data science, AI, and machine learning. Daoyuan currently holds the position of AI/Data Director at Finquest since January 2022. In their previous role as Associate Director at Finquest from March 2020 to January 2022, they implemented strategic plans and applied research in data science and AI, providing technical advice and leadership. Prior to joining Finquest, Daoyuan Li served as the Lead Data Scientist at the same company, where they focused on identifying and connecting clients with off-market acquisition and investment opportunities using big data and AI.

Daoyuan Li has also worked as a Senior Artificial Intelligence Specialist at Travelsify from April 2018 to April 2019, and as a Research Associate and Chercheur en formation doctorale at SnT, Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust from January 2015 to March 2018. During their time at SnT, they conducted research on time series mining, specializing in time series classification and clustering. Daoyuan also contributed to the development of a web dashboard integrated with their proposed time series algorithms for pattern recognition and anomaly detection.

Additionally, Daoyuan Li has held the role of Chief Technology Officer at EditorAI from October 2016 to March 2018. Daoyuan has also served as a Board Director and Technical Director at Yabroad from November 2013 to October 2014, and August 2012 to July 2014, respectively.

Earlier in their career, Daoyuan Li worked at Ericsson as a Research Scientist from August 2011 to September 2012, where they designed and implemented a voice over sensors prototype for emerging and remote areas. Daoyuan also worked as a Thesis Worker at Ericsson, specializing in low-power sensors and actuators and various protocols such as IEEE 802.15.4, ZigBee, IP, and CoAP during February 2011 to July 2011.

Daoyuan Li received a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Software Engineering from Jilin University in 2009. Daoyuan then pursued a Master of Science degree in Security and Mobile Computing, first at KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2010, and later at Aalto University from 2010 to 2011. In 2015, Daoyuan Li enrolled in the University of Luxembourg and completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science in 2018.
