Petr Koutny

Petr Koutny has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Petr began their career as a Desktop Publisher at BSC, where they designed education materials for IBM trainings. Their role then transitioned to an AS/400 system communication manager. Petr later joined the Finshape company, first as a Software Developer working on electronic banking systems, and then as a Development Manager and Department Manager for multichannel banking. Koutny continued to climb the corporate ladder, becoming the Banking Division Director and eventually the Managing Director at Finshape. In 2013, they also took on the role of Managing Director at BSC Msc, overseeing operations in Russia and Ukraine. Additionally, Koutny had a brief stint at Sun Valley Resort as a Bell Service employee.

Petr Koutny obtained an Engineer's Degree in Software Engineering from the Czech Technical University in Prague, where they studied from 1992 to 1998. In 1995, they briefly attended the Prague University of Economics and Business, focusing on the Faculty of Finance and Accounting. In 2018, they completed the Oxford Blockchain Strategy Programme at The University of Oxford Saïd Business School.
