Gerhard Wörtche, PhD, has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Gerhard began their career as an intern at Valoraciones Financieras, where they gained experience in corporate finance. Gerhard then worked as an Analyst in Debt Capital Markets at Advicorp PLC. In 2013, they joined S&P Global Ratings as a Primary Analyst, focusing on corporate ratings. Gerhard then transitioned to Morgan Stanley, where they served as a Leveraged Finance Credit professional. Gerhard further expanded their expertise by working as an Investment Professional at HPS Investment Partners, LLC. Currently, Gerhard holds the position of CEO and Co-Founder at Finsimco.

Gerhard Wörtche, PhD, has an extensive education history in the field of finance and economics. Gerhard obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Banking and Financial Management at the Universität Liechtenstein, from 2007 to 2009.

Wörtche furthered their education by pursuing a PhD in Quantitative Finance at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where they studied from 2009 to 2011. This program allowed him to deepen their knowledge and expertise in the field of finance with a focus on quantitative methodologies.

In addition to their academic achievements, Wörtche also obtained a certification as a Certified Ratings Analyst from NYU Stern School of Business in October 2013. This certification further demonstrates their dedication to the field and their commitment to professional development.
