Ravimani Ayyapalam

Ravimani Ayyapalam has over 30 years of work experience, starting in 1991 as an Equity Trader and System Analyst at Chandrakala Money and Capital Markets. From 1997 to 1999, they worked as an Applications Consultant at Deutsche Bank and Socgen Security. Ravimani then joined Standard Chartered Bank as an Application Consultant for Murex from 1999 to 2001. Ravimani later moved to Murex as a Financial Consultant from 2001 to 2006. Ravimani returned to Standard Chartered Bank as a Senior Business Analyst for Murex and Sophis from 2006 to 2010. Ravimani then worked as a Vice President at OCBC Bank from 2010 to 2012. Ravimani's next role was as a First Vice President at UOB from 2012 to 2016, where they managed coordination of partners and working groups for the Murex project. Ravimani then joined Standard Chartered Bank again as a Senior Murex Consultant from 2016 to 2018. In 2017, Ravimani founded and became the CEO of FinSurge, a company focused on driving innovation in financial technology. Most recently, in 2020, they became the Managing Director of FinSurge UK Ltd.

Ravimani Ayyapalam obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Ayya Nadar Janaki Ammal College in 1989. Following this, they pursued a Master of Computer Application (MCA) degree from Alagappa Chettiar College of Engineering & Technology (ACCET) from 1989 to 1992. Later on, in 2003, they attended Macquarie University and completed a Master of Applied Finance (MAF) degree in 2005.
