Mirna Sleiman has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. In 2006, they began their career as a Financial Reporter for Zawya, followed by a Senior Banking and Finance Reporter for Dow Jones. In 2011, they joined Thomson Reuters as the Head of Government Sector, MENA, Business Development Director, Head of Strategic Relations, and Senior Equities Correspondent. In 2017, they were appointed as a Strategic Advisor for The Union of Arab Banks, Digital Transformation Consultant for Dubai FDI, and Founder & CEO of Fintech Galaxy. In 2020, they began working as a University Lecturer at ESA Business School.
Mirna Sleiman has an extensive education history. Mirna began their studies in 1997 at the Lebanese University, where they earned a BA in English Literature in 2001. In 2016, they attended the London Stock Exchange Academy, and then the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they earned a Certificate in Fintech and Future of E-commerce. Mirna also earned a Certificate in Digital Marketing and Communication from Columbia University in 2017. In 2016, they began their Executive MBA at Cass Business School, which they completed in 2018. In 2020, they began a Digital Disruption: Digital Transformation Strategies program at the University of Cambridge, which they are expected to complete in 2021. Finally, they are scheduled to earn a Certificate in Corporate Governance from The Wharton School in 2022.
