Joe Parkin

Joe Parkin is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in asset management and financial services. Currently serving as Co-Founder and Managing Partner at FinTech Growth Fund since August 2023, Joe previously held a prominent role at BlackRock as Managing Director from April 2012 to August 2023. In this capacity, Joe led various senior initiatives within iShares, Aladdin, and Wealth, including serving as Head of UK Sales at iShares and Digital Wealth for Northern Europe. Additional roles at BlackRock included oversight of UK Wealth and Retail distribution, Chief of Staff for iShares EMEA, and managing strategic partnerships across the region. Joe also contributed to the Investment Association as an Advisory Panel Member for the FinTech Accelerator and served as a Board Trustee for the Lt. Dougie Dalzell MC Memorial Trust. Joe's earlier career includes positions with Goldman Sachs focused on discretionary sales and global private wealth management. Joe Parkin holds a BA in Economics & Philosophy from the University of Leeds.
