Matthew Pedroza

Matthew Pedroza has a diverse work experience in data, business development, and teaching. Matthew currently holds the position of Data Lead at Venus Labs since 2022. Before that, they served as the Chief Data Officer at FinTech School, where they collaborated with top financial institutions and regulators globally. In 2022, they also worked as a Business Development Specialist at Fractionally, providing fractional services to startups. Matthew has previous experience at Accenture as a Data Science Analyst and Data Science Analytics Associate, specializing in advanced analytics. Matthew also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Universidad de los Andes - Colombia in 2019 and 2017.

Matthew Pedroza has a strong education background in engineering and computer science. From 2018 to 2020, they attended Universidad de Los Andes where they pursued a degree in Ingeniería de sistemas (Systems Engineering). Prior to that, from 2015 to 2020, they studied Ingeniería industrial (Industrial Engineering) at the same university. Before entering university, Matthew completed their International Baccalaureate from 2013 to 2015, focusing on Computer Science, Economics, and English. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications in areas such as blockchain, cloud computing, machine learning, and programming. Notable certifications include Blockchain from MIT Professional Education, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, and Machine Learning from Coursera.
