Andrew Haines has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Andrew began their career in 1989 as an AVP at Salomon Smith Barney. In 1995, they joined Merrill Lynch as VP of Retail Platforms, Fixed Income & FX Trading Systems Development, where they led a team of 45+ to build and deliver the first browser-based, fixed income trading systems. In 2004, they became Chief Information Officer of Bluefly. In 2005, they joined Gain Capital Group, LLC as Chief Information Officer, where they re-engineered the company's proprietary Forex trading platform. In 2012, they co-founded OptionsPlay, an innovative options analytics platform focused on options trading and education. Andrew also co-founded FinTech Studios, a leading NYC-based software studio and curated marketplace focused on the $4 Trillion Financial Services market. In 2018, they co-founded Nitro Trading Systems to help brokerage, wealth management and other FinTech firms deliver enterprise-class trading solutions across multiple asset classes. In 2021, they joined iTechArt Group as Global Head of Fintech.
Andrew Haines received their Masters in Information Management from Stevens Institute of Technology between 1990 and 1992. Prior to that, they obtained their BS in Business Administration with a focus in Finance from the University of Delaware.
