Rui Toscano

Rui Toscano has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Rui began their career at InovaPrime as a Consultant from February 2007 to September 2009. Rui then joined Deloitte and worked as an Analyst from September 2009 to September 2010, before transitioning to the role of Consultant from August 2010 to October 2012. Following this, Rui joined OutSystems, where they held various positions in Solution Architecture (Pre Sales/Sales Engineering) for the EMEA market. Rui worked as a Senior Solution Architect from October 2012 to December 2016. During this time, they achieved significant milestones, such as expanding the customer base in the Asia Pacific region, supporting the setup of a regional office in Singapore, and contributing to the growth and overachievement of sales targets in the EMEA market. Rui then progressed within OutSystems and held roles such as Manager, Director, and Senior Director of Solution Architecture from January 2017 to March 2023. In their most recent role, they were the Regional Vice President of Solution Architecture (Pre Sales/Sales Engineering) for EMEA at OutSystems. As of 2023, Rui Toscano joined FintechOS as the VP of Presales.

Rui Toscano completed their MSc in Information Systems and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, between 2003 and 2009. Rui pursued a Postgraduate course in Corporate Management from ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa in 2011-2012. In 2023, they obtained a certification in Building Digital Partnerships and Ecosystems from INSEAD. Apart from their formal education, they have also obtained various certifications, including Technical Sales, Developing a Mentoring Program, Sales Channel Management, Associate Mobile Developer, Associate Web Developer, ITIL v3, and Oracle SOA Suite.
