Jose Saldaña Mercado

Jose Saldaña Mercado has worked in various positions since 2012. Jose began their career as a Building Engineer at Pedro Pretel S.L., where they were responsible for the full project, including budget, hiring, purchasing, and technical evaluations of the work. In 2018, they moved to Grupo Vico as a Building Engineer, where they managed 30 specialists and was in charge of purchasing and hiring, while also writing viability studies and technical reports. In 2019, they joined Nazarédes as a Senior Software Developer, where they designed and developed a Microservices Architecture for a set of payment production. Jose also defined, developed, and integrated products and services for client needs, as well as implemented a full DevOps-based environment for continuous integration and continuous delivery, with high automation from unit tests to full deployment. Jose was later promoted to Technical Lead, where they managed a team of 7 people and coordinated and aligned cross-team projects. In 2022, they moved to Fintecture as a Principal Engineer.

Jose Saldaña Mercado attended Universidad de Granada from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Grado en Edificación in the field of Arquitecto técnico. Jose then attended Universidad de Granada from 2017 to 2021, where they earned a Grado in Ingeniería informática.
