Iker de los Rios has held a number of roles in various companies since 2005. In 2006, they were an Analyst in the Wholesale Banking & Asset Management division at BBVA. From 2005 to 2007, they were an Office Systems Management Professor at Deusto Business School. From 2007 to 2010, they were a Partner & Executive Director at IDEON Financial Solutions. From 2010 to 2012, they were the COO of CHOICE Financial Solutions. From 2012 to 2014, they were the CEO of LICUOS. From 2014 to 2019, they held a number of roles at Fintonic, including Country Manager Spain, Chief Client Officer (CCO), Managing Director of Lending, and Head of Business Management. Since 2017, they have been a Visiting Lecturer and Project Mentor at The Valley Digital Business School. Since 2018, they have been a Board Member at Zank. Since 2019, they have been a Board Member at BilbaoTIK. Centro Informático del Ayuntamiento de Bilbao.

Iker de los Rios completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) and Management Development Master from the University of Deusto between 2001 and 2006. Iker then completed a Master in Business Innovation (MBI) from the same university between 2014 and 2015. Currently, they are enrolled in the Programa profesional en Diseño de mensaje y narrativa at INSTITUTO TRAMONTANA, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
