Yuri M. has over 25 years of experience in the finance industry, beginning with a role as Project Manager for ERP Systems Implementation and Six Sigma at General Electric in 1996. In 2002, they moved to Deutsche Bank as an Associate for Emerging Markets Structuring. Yuri then moved to Credit Suisse in 2005 as Vice-President for Emerging Markets Structuring, before joining Barclays Capital in 2008 as Director for Emerging Markets Structuring. In 2010, they began their role as Managing Director and Head of Derivatives Structuring at VTB Capital, and in 2021 they became Co-Founder of finvero.com.

Yuri M. began their educational journey in 1990, when they attended Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics (MTUCI) to study Economics. Yuri then moved on to Bentley University to obtain their B.S. in Management from 1993 to 1995. In 2000, Yuri M. obtained their MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, with a focus in Analytic Finance and Econometrics. Most recently, in 2019, Yuri M. completed a Fintech Program at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
