Brian Anstine has extensive work experience in software engineering, specifically in the development of cash-recycling and cash-dispensing devices. Brian started their career at Diebold in 1983 as a Co-op and worked their way up to a Senior Software Engineer. During their time at Diebold, they were involved in various projects, including collaborating with a Japanese vendor on the design and interface of next-generation cash recyclers. Brian led a team of 10 software developers in designing and developing firmware requirements and client interfaces for cash recyclers. Brian also worked on cash dispensers, developing software for the company's flagship devices and creating middleware and low-level communications interfaces. Additionally, Brian Anstine improved internal tracing of all devices for debugging and diagnosing problems. In 2013, they joined Ontario Systems as a Senior Quality Control Analyst, where they continue to apply their expertise in software engineering.
Brian Anstine obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The University of Akron, where they studied from 1981 to 1986.
