Emily Johnson

Emily Johnson, CPA has a diverse work experience in accounting and auditing. Emily started their career as an Audit Intern at Grant Thornton LLP (US) in January 2016 and completed their internship in March 2016. Emily then joined the same company as an Audit Associate II in October 2016 and worked until March 2018. After that, Emily worked at EY as a Senior Auditor from March 2018 to August 2020. Emily then transitioned to Finvi and held various positions, including Senior Accountant from August 2020 to March 2022, Accounting Manager from March 2022 to April 2022, and Manager, Revenue Accounting from April 2022 to June 2023. Currently, they are working as an Assistant Controller at Finvi since June 2023. Emily Johnson possesses strong accounting and auditing skills gained through their years of experience in the industry.

Emily Johnson, CPA, holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Bates College, which they obtained from 2011 to 2015. Emily also attended the University of Melbourne in 2014, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economics. Afterward, from 2015 to 2016, Emily pursued further education at the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University, earning a Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Business Administration and Management, General.

In terms of certifications, Emily obtained their CPA license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in June 2020. Prior to that, they became a Certified Public Accountant through the New York State Board of Public Accountancy in May 2018.
