Christian Weisbrodt has over 30 years of work experience, starting in 1991 as a Warm-Up Entertainer for Glücksrad Fernsehproduktions GmbH. Christian then worked as a Marketing Manager Trainee for Alna in 1994 before moving on to Instru Data OY, where they served as a Sales & Marketing Manager from 1995 to 1998. In 2015, Weisbrodt joined Basware, first as the Sales Director for DACH on an interim basis, during which they drove regional sales performance and managed a team of Account Managers. Christian then took on the role of Marketing Director DACH from 2015 to 2017 before becoming the VP of International Marketing from 2017 to 2018.
From 2018 to 2020, Weisbrodt worked at Personio as the VP of Marketing, overseeing marketing activities. Most recently, in 2020, they joined finway as the Chief Revenue Officer.

Christian Weisbrodt attended Lilienthal-Gymnasium in Berlin from 1980 to 1987, where they completed their Abitur. After completing their secondary education, they enrolled at Freie Universität Berlin from 1987 to 1992.
