Robert Keil

Robert Keil has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Robert is currently the Chief Fintech Officer at FinWise Bank, where they focus on growing the Lending-as-a-Service business and expanding the bank's Banking-as-a Service offerings.

Prior to their current role, Robert served as the Chief Payments Officer, SVP at Sutton Bank, where they worked with Fintech companies to offer banking solutions to the public.

Robert also worked as the VP of Fintech and Emerging Payments at Fiserv, leading a team that sold payment solutions to non-FI/Fintech companies. Robert built relationships with sponsor banks, industry consultants, and trade organizations.

Robert has experience in relationship management, having worked as the VP of Relationship Management at both Ondot Systems Inc and U.S. Bank. At Ondot, they were responsible for managing business relationships with financial institutions, while at U.S. Bank, they managed relationships with FI clients in the Western US.

Additionally, Robert has experience as a Certified Business Coach at FocalPoint Business Coaching, where they provided one-on-one coaching, workshops, and assessments to entrepreneurs.

Earlier in their career, Robert held various roles at U.S. Bank d/b/a Elan Financial Services, including National Sales Director and Vice President of Strategic Alliances. Robert led teams, drove sales, and developed marketing strategies for electronic funds transfer services.

Robert began their career at Wells Fargo, where they worked in the Card Services division as an Account Executive and Mortgage Consultant.

Before entering the financial services industry, Robert worked as a Fitness Consultant at NordicTrack, where they matched customers' needs with fitness equipment.

Throughout their career, Robert has achieved outstanding results, exceeded goals, and built strong relationships with clients and industry partners.

Robert Keil attended Staatliche Realschule Taufkirchen from 1981 to 1985. Following that, they pursued a vocational education at Staatliche Berufsschule fuer Bankkaufleute from 1985 to 1988. Apart from their formal education, Robert obtained additional certifications including the "Certified Brian Tracy Sales Success Intensive Trainer" from Brian Tracy International in August 2013, and the "Certified Business Coach" certification from FocalPoint International, though the specific dates for this certification are unknown.
