Shlomit Dekel

Shlomit Dekel has extensive work experience in various roles, primarily in the technology and business development sectors. Shlomit founded and served as the Principal of Bourn Corporate Development, a consulting company that provided business development and advisory services to technology businesses and venture capitalists. Shlomit also held executive roles at Fio Corporation, where they served as the President and Board Director. Additionally, Dekel held multiple positions at Cedara Software, including Vice President of Sales and Customer Solutions, Vice President of Business Development, and Vice President and General Manager of Navigation and Engineering Service. Shlomit also worked as a Director of Business Development and Director of OEM Sales at Cedara Software. Before that, they worked as a Project Manager at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and a Research Assistant in Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Haifa. Shlomit Dekel has a diverse educational background. In 1978, they attended Bar-Ilan University and pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Psychology. Shlomit successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 1983, graduating with honors (Com Laude). Following this, Shlomit continued their academic journey at the University of Haifa, where they pursued M.A. studies in Cognitive Psychology from 1983 to 1985. Finally, in 1997, they enrolled in executive business courses at The Wharton School for a short period.
