Beryl van Straten-van Diepenbeek

Beryl van Straten-van Diepenbeek currently serves as Wethouder for gemeente Haarlemmermeer, focusing on Finance, Spatial Planning, Housing, Land Affairs, and Participation since July 2024. In addition, Beryl is a member of the Supervisory Board for Samenwerkingsverband Primair Onderwijs Zaanstreek and has been a teachers’ society and social sciences instructor at Fioretti College Lisse since January 2017. Beryl has been the Fractievoorzitter for Haarlemmermeerse VVD since November 2015 and worked at the Amsterdam International Community School as a substitute teacher from June 2011 to November 2016. Previous roles include a Board member at Stichting Algemeen Bijzonder Onderwijs Heemstede and an Account Manager for KBC Bank Nederland N.V., where responsibilities included acquisition and relationship management for international clients. Beryl holds a Master of Arts in Education from Rijks Universiteit Leiden, earned through ICLON, and a Master's degree in Law from Rijks Universiteit Leiden, completed in 1995.
