Laura de Hoog

Laura de Hoog is an experienced educator currently serving as a Kartrekker duurzaamheid at Fioretti College since August 2020, focusing on initiating and evaluating sustainability projects aligned with the UN's SDGs while collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance meaningful learning for students. As a Leraar Mens & Maatschappij, Laura teaches the subject to first and second-year vocational pathways, promoting interdisciplinary project-based education that fosters empathy and connection among students. Additionally, Laura serves as a mentor and resident in Ecodorp Boekel since May 2022, dedicated to building a sustainable community. Previously, Laura taught geography at Orion Lyceum and worked as a leerlingbegeleider at Van Kuijk Personal Support, providing homework support and individualized guidance to students with learning challenges. Laura holds a Bachelor of Education degree in geography from Fontys University of Applied Sciences.
