Katie Wang

Katie Wang is a skilled professional with a diverse background in technical artistry and software engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Technical Artist at Firaxis Games since February 2023, Katie previously held multiple roles at Electronic Arts from July 2018 to January 2023, including Software Engineer, Technical Artist, and Associate Technical Artist. Prior experience includes positions as a Concept Artist and Developer at MPLEX, and a HelpDesk Technician at EIT Helpdesk, providing technical support. Katie has also worked as a Summer Tech/Creative Fellow at TechChange, focusing on web development and graphic design, and contributed to innovative projects at the Human Computer Interaction Lab as an Undergraduate Researcher. Academically, Katie holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Fine/Studio Arts from the University of Maryland.
