Kaye Vassey

Kaye Vassey is an accomplished Senior Art Manager specializing in Animation at Firaxis Games since January 2023, overseeing the Animation, Tech Anim, and Cinematics teams. Vassey has a diverse background, having served as Board Chair and Board Member at the LGBT Center of Raleigh from March 2020 to March 2023, and contributed to the LGBTQIA2+ ERG Leadership Council at Epic Games while also mentoring artists in the Unreal Engine Fellowship for Virtual Production from June 2014 to December 2022. Previous experience includes roles such as Game Developer at Spark Plug Games, Crowd Animation Supervisor at DreamWorks Animation, and various animation positions at companies like Big Idea and Disney i.d.e.a.s. Vassey holds a Certificate in 2D Traditional Animation from GOBELINS Paris and a BFA in Fine Art, Film, and Computer Science from Clemson University.
