Ronald Alferez

Ronald Alferez is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in programming and game development. Currently serving as a Senior Programmer at Firaxis Games since September 2018, Ronald previously co-founded and developed at Happy Skellies from August 2015 to August 2018. Ronald held the position of Lead Programmer at Gameloft from October 2004 to July 2015 and has academic experience as a Researcher and Teaching Assistant at UC Santa Barbara from 1995 to 2002. Additional roles include Software Manager at Dadaware and faculty positions at Assumption University of Thailand and the University of the Philippines at Los Banos. Ronald holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from the University of the Philippines.
