Mayra J. L. currently serves as the Vice President of Human Resources at Fire Aside, where responsibility includes evolving and scaling the people operations function to enhance community resilience against wildfire risks. Previously, Mayra held the role of Group Level 2, VP HR at Lumine Group, overseeing HR strategy and operations for international companies across North America, Europe, and Asia. Mayra's tenure at WideOrbit involved leading HR activities to align with company goals while partnering with senior managers to develop and retain talent. Prior experience includes serving as Sr Director of Talent Acquisition & Talent Management at RGP, a pro bono consultant at Taproot Foundation, and managing executive recruitment at Capital Group | American Funds. Mayra holds a BS from Cornell University and an HR Certificate from the University of California, Berkeley.
