Jason Black, SET, is an experienced fire protection industry professional with a robust history of leadership roles. Currently serving as Vice President at Fire Safety and Protection, LLC since April 2022, Jason has previously held significant positions, including District General Manager at Firetrol Protection Systems from May 2011 to April 2022, and President at American Fire Protection Group, Inc. from March 2009 to May 2011. Earlier in the career, Jason was General Manager - Gulf Coast at Fire Tech Systems, Inc. for nearly six years and worked as Project Manager at L. Pugh & Associates, Inc. for over a decade. Jason's educational background includes attendance at Pensacola State College from 1990 to 1992.

Fire Safety & Protection, LLC (FSP) was formed by Sunny River Management in 2018 to build a premier fire & life safety business with a continental reach covering the U.S. and Canada. FSP has and will continue to grow organically and through acquisition of several smaller, like-minded businesses built on customer service and local code expertise in the installation, service/repair, and inspection of fire & life safety systems such as fire alarms, fire sprinkler systems, and access control, video surveillance and other security systems for all types of buildings.
