Amanda Nordstrom is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in animal protection law and advocacy. Currently serving as Strategic Campaigns Counsel at the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression, Amanda has held various positions within the organization focusing on campus rights advocacy since May 2022. Prior to this, Amanda worked at PETA from January 2011 to May 2022 in roles including International Corporate Affairs Manager and Company Liaison. Amanda’s career began with legal internships and clerkships, including positions at the American Anti-Vivisection Society, where extensive legal research on animal testing was conducted. Amanda earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from Rutgers Law School, specializing in Animal Law, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.
