Susan Culhane has a long and varied work experience. Susan began their career in 2004 as a Teacher of Higher Level Mathematics, Biology and Science at Gonzaga College, where they also acted as a form tutor and editor of the Gonzaga Record. In 2013, they became a CRA Intern at NCSRN within the Irish Heart Foundation, and later that year took on a role as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) at ICORG (now Cancer Trials Ireland). In 2015, they moved to Avadel Ireland as Senior Clinical Program Manager, where they managed multiple Phase I clinical research studies and provided critical project management support. Susan currently works at FIRE1 Foundry as Clinical Operations Manager and Clinical Development Lead.
Susan Culhane has a diverse education history. Susan attended St Joseph's College, Lucan from 1993 to 1999 and obtained their high school diploma. From 1999 to 2003, they attended Maynooth University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Mathematics, Computer Science and Mathematical Physics. In 2003 and 2004, they attended University College Dublin and obtained a Higher Diploma in Education in Secondary Education and Teaching. From 2009 to 2011, they attended Maynooth University again and earned a Master's Degree in Mathematics. Most recently, they attended the Institute of Project Management from 2018 to 2019 and earned a Diploma in Project Management.
