Caren Prince

Caren Prince currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, leading accounting, finance, IT, and procurement functions while reporting to the CEO. Previously, Caren held the CFO position for the US division of Krispy Kreme from May 2018 to May 2023, driving growth and transformation within the business, as well as leading a team of 18. Additional roles at Krispy Kreme included Vice President of US Portfolio Optimization and Expansion, where strategic partnerships and market entry initiatives were developed. Caren also served as Chairperson of the Board at WKS Restaurant Group and as a Board Member at Awesome Doughnut, LLC, both of which are franchisees of Krispy Kreme. Prior experience includes over a decade at Mars, where Caren was CFO of the Mars Retail Group, overseeing operations across multiple countries, and held roles focused on financial integration and corporate finance. Caren holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the University of Newcastle and is a CPA with CPA Australia.
