Tim Bruenjes

Tim Bruenjes has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Tim is currently working at Fireblocks as the Head of Sales and Strategic Business Development for DACH, Nordics, Baltics, CEE, and Russia. Prior to this role, Tim worked as the Head of Sales for DACH and Italy at Macrobond Financial, where they focused on improving the quality and efficiency of economic and financial research. Before that, they served as the Managing Director of Business Development and Sales for Europe, Middle East, and Africa at Smartkarma, where they aimed to change the research landscape for global investors. Tim also worked at PIMCO as the Head of Asia Equity, Cash, Derivatives, and Volatility Trading, and at DWS Investments in various senior positions in multi-asset trading across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Tim started their career at Deutsche Bank as an apprentice in certified banking.

Tim Bruenjes attended IE Business School from 2016 to 2017, where they obtained a Global Executive MBA. The program took place in Madrid, Singapore, Los Angeles, and Sao Paulo. Additionally, Tim holds several certifications including the Alternative Investment Analyst Charter (CAIA Charter) Level 1 from the CAIA Association, License 1, 2, and 6a from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), and a Trader License from Deutsche Börse.
