Carlos J. Roman

Carlos J. Roman is an experienced executive currently serving as Vice President EMEA at Firebolt since March 2025, overseeing go-to-market and customer-facing operations. Previously, Carlos held roles at Confluent, including Vice President for EMEA Digital Native & Emerging Markets and Area Vice President for EMEA Commercial Sales, and at Avaya as Regional Vice President for Europe & International Public Cloud Leadership. A significant tenure at Oracle spanned over two decades, where Carlos served as Vice President for Cloud Platform Sales in Europe North and led the Oracle Direct Applications & SaaS organizations across Asia Pacific, among several leadership roles. Carlos holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and has completed various executive education programs at esteemed institutions, including Harvard Business School and London Business School.
