Joshua Tallent has a diverse and extensive work experience in the publishing and technology industries. Joshua is currently the Director of Sales and Education at Firebrand Technologies, taking charge of content marketing, training, and client communication. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Outreach and Education at Firebrand, where they managed social media, training, and documentation efforts. Before joining Firebrand, Joshua was the Chief eBook Architect at the same company, focusing on ebook development. In 2021, they became the Host of The BookSmarts Podcast, discussing publishing data, technologies, and interviewing industry experts. Before these roles, Joshua founded eBook Architects LLC in 2009, which grew and became well-known for ebook development projects. Joshua also worked at WORDsearch Bible Software as an eBook Development Manager, where they started as an eBook developer and later became the department manager, significantly increasing productivity.
Joshua Tallent attended Southwestern Assemblies of God University from 1997 to 1999, where they obtained an AA degree in Biblical Studies. After that, they went on to study History at the University of Houston from 2000 to 2001.
