Eric Ciarla

Eric Ciarla is a co-founder with extensive experience in building AI-driven data extraction and search platforms. Currently, Eric co-leads Firecrawl, focusing on infrastructure for AI data extraction, utilized by industry giants like Amazon, Zapier, and Nvidia. Prior to this, Eric co-founded Mendable, which developed an AI-powered search platform with significant adoption across companies such as Coinbase, Snap, DoorDash, and MongoDB. Eric also co-founded SideGuide, creating an online course platform that grew a community of over 50,000 developers. Earlier roles include data engineering at Fracta, where Eric provided technical support and managed geospatial data for predictive analytics, and data science at Ford Motor Company, where SQL and advanced statistical methods were employed to analyze customer experience data. Eric's educational background includes studies at the University of New Hampshire and participation in Y Combinator's S22 batch.
