Kris Bilbrey

Kris Bilbrey is an experienced Cisco Security Instructor and Cisco Certified Systems Instructor with a career spanning over two decades in the information technology and education sectors. Currently working with Firefly Educate since January 2016, Kris teaches CCNA/CCNP Security. Previous roles include teaching a variety of Cisco courses at Cisco and Global Knowledge since 2011, and serving as Regional Education Manager at TechSkills. During tenure at Lone Star College, instruction focused on the Cisco Academy curriculum, aiding students in developing essential technical skills. Earlier experience includes network engineering and IT support at ANetCo LLC, as well as signal support in the United States Army, where responsibilities involved managing information systems during deployments. Kris holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Sam Houston State University.
