Adam Oakes is an accomplished aerospace professional with extensive experience in launch vehicle development and production. Currently serving as Vice President of Launch Vehicles at Firefly Aerospace since April 2019, Adam previously held multiple engineering and leadership roles at SpaceX from November 2008 to January 2019, including Principal Engineer and Director of Propulsion Production. Adam’s career began at Alliant Techsystems as a Design Engineer from 2005 to 2008. Adam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Washington, obtained in 2005.
