Allen Butler

Allen Butler is an experienced aerospace professional currently holding the position of Director of Spacecraft Integration, Test, and Launch Operations at Firefly Aerospace since November 2021. Prior to this role, Allen served as the Assembly, Integration and Test Manager and Senior Payload Integration Manager at Firefly Aerospace. From July 2018 to December 2021, Allen worked at Northrop Grumman as a Principal Systems Engineer, leading specification maturation and architecture model development, as well as serving as the Systems Engineering Integration and Test Lead for a navigation system. Earlier experience includes positions as a Guidance, Navigation and Control Systems Engineer at Raytheon and an intern at NASA Ames Research Center, along with research roles during academic years at Georgia Tech. Allen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
