Kristie Campbell has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Kristie is the founder of Buckeye Friends School, a position they have held since 2019. Prior to that, they co-founded the firefly grill in 2004 and served as the CEO, managing all aspects of the business except the kitchen. Kristie was also the President of Samuel Music Co. from 2011 to 2016. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Equity Trader at Fidelity Investments from 1996 to 2002 and as a Veterinarian Technician at an Independent Mobile Veterinarian from 1993 to 1996. Kristie also has experience as an Associate at McDonald's from 1988 to 1990 and as a Stable Hand at Hillside Stables from 1981 to 1985.

Kristie Campbell attended Duke University from 1992 to 1993, where they studied Marine Science. Kristie then transferred to the University of Miami, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Math from 1993 to 1996.
